         Thank you for visiting my site!  Few things bring me more joy than being a part of capturing important moments.  To make time stand still for an instant and preserve it forever is such a blessing.  Born in the small town of St. Francisville, Louisiana I was raised to value relationships and community.  This is reflected in all that I do, including photography.  I have been married to my best friend for over a decade and as we have experienced our own two children growing so fast.  I have recognized how important moments are and how quickly they pass. 

        Photography is a way to tell and preserve stories.  It is such a privilege to be invited to experience special moments with people and to be trusted to capture these moments and preserve them through the art of photography.  Having lived in different communities around the country I have developed an appreciation for the uniqueness of each person.  My love for people and stories motivates me to create photographs that draw the viewer into the moment and allow them to experience the energy and emotion of the story.

Five Random Things about me:

• I love classic films, especially Roger and Hammerstein or anything with Carey Grant.

• Dry shampoo is a staple in my life.

• I am a little obsessed with holiday decorations.

• My favorite color is blue and it's been that way since I was a little girl watching my Granny paint. I always wanted her to paint with cobalt blue.

• I love mustard on almost anything. It started as a craving with one of my pregnancies and then it just never went away.
